Dont know why people always think about uploading files at rapidshare first…there are enough other possibilities to store ur files on a free server, where u even do not have to wait 1 1/2 hours before loading the next file.
-At this point, it is not necessary to tell me about router-reconnecters and other shit like that…as u can see on ur own, rapidshare does change its captchas weekly now, so it makes it more and more difficult to use programs who use the technique of reading captchas.-

Look man here’s the thing. Rapidshare is a very trusted server and many people (not just w-ki users) use rapidshare (RS or rs) this is the most common webhosting site on the internet I can say so far, and because of that you can download lots and lots of content starting from Music up to Executable Programs. I always use rs for everything and let me tell you something, I did hate rs before I had a premium account, many users do have one too, I think you don’t have one and that’s maybe the reason why you’re complaining abbout rs, well just in case you don’t you should at least try it once I can tell you that when you try it for the first time you can tell the difference and the freedom you have to download as many content as you wish, you can begin downloading/uploading files up to 2000MB.
If you like a serie you can download it through rs, if you want a program you can find it in rs, if you want purchase a 2 day account, 4.50 EUR 48 hours
short-term and then let me know what you think about rs.
Rs is unstoppable! beleive me someday you’ll love rs.

and yeah, ur right, i am one of those people. anyway i am using rs since it began getting online! and i dont want to make it look that i am the biggest rs hater over the world. serious i like working with this service. when i am searching for files i almost find them on rs…bit yeah…its an endless story.

not everyone is too tight to pay the very small amount for a premium rapidshare account, considering you get all the movies, music and games you want for free, easy and fast, whats 7 euros a month, dont be such a tight arse.

Mir als User ist es wichtig die beste Performance zu bekommen, sprich ne gute Speed beim downloaden und das 24h rund um die Uhr. Bei welchem Fileserver ist mir im Prinzip scheißegal, ich bin alles andere als ein RS-Hyper.
Es lässt sich allerdings nicht von der Hand weisen das Rs den besten Service liefert, wenn wir davon ausgehen, das man bei all den Fileservern keinen Account besitzt. Wenn ich mir Uploaded.to, Megaupload, Filefactory, etc. anschaue, da gehts speedmäßg derart in den Keller, das man kotzen könnte! Und auch da muss man teilweise seinen Router neu connecten oder eben warten!
Bei RS lade ich mit einer DSL 16000 Leitung mit bis zu 1,6Mbit runter, da kann kein anderer Fileserver mithalten.
Und was die Hilfsprogramme wie RS-Downloader angeht, sich damit mal ne Stunde zu beschäftigen und ab und zu ein Update zu machen, falls Captcha-Methoden geändert werden, kostet immer noch weniger als ein Prem.Account und so kompliziert ist das nicht.Ich meine, das alles ist mehr oder weniger umsonst - Filme, Mp3,etc. - da sollte man von den Usern schon etwas mehr Initiative erwarten können.

I hate it when people use anything BUT Rapidshare. I’m so glad there is finally a reasonably standardized protocol for these activities. I am also glad Demonoid is back online!

Any service will probably work ok if you buy their premium account. I bought one at RS so I work predominantly with RS. No hype, just a choice.

OK. So RS is very good but try to upload the files on a second site too. It will help us (the users without RS premium account) download more faster. I recommend this site

Rs is great, but check files that you posted on this site. There are more people without premium rs account who downloaded my files, than ones with it. So I think maybe we shoul use alternative hosters too! Or I’m wrong?
