the discussion, if unknown mixes should published or not develloped the following thoughts in my mind:
its not only the art of mixing that makes a god mix, its further the art of selecting and compiling all the songs into a interesting, varied and of course high quality mix. you could mix tracks in many ways, traktor and the other mixing softwares give you the best opportunity to make it synchron. but the essential key is the choice of tracks and the overall impression, that a complete mix is standing for. it takes an hour to mix the tracks, but it takes a lot of hours and days to select the right tracks in their right position for the perfect music creation and a harmonic atmosphere. and i think, particularly the homemade amateur mixes are full of inspiration and inventiveness, so that they are partial better as the ones of the so called global-players. so the real stars which form this scene are the guys sitting at home and CREATE a mix, not only just are mixing!
