Danish trio Who Made Who manipulate embellished bass lines and seamless electronics into classy pop the likes of Hot Chip, Late of the Pier and Mr. Oizo drool over. As a matter of fact, Hot Chip have asked to remix WMW’s latest single, TV Friend. Copenhagen’s finest skeleton-suited gents have delivered on their earlier promise of 2005’s self-titled debut which was Gomma Records’ sleeper hit of the year. Out The Door was a prime example of a tiny budget stretched to alarming lengths and layered with synth, and falsetto vocals, culminating in dancefloor destiny.

Moderat’s formation began back in 2002 when Sascha Ring (aka Apparat) and Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (aka Modeselektor) recorded an EP for the record label BPitch Control. The making of this release was incredibly exhausting for the three of them, and at the last minute they renamed the EP “Auf Kosten der Gesundheit” (which translates to “At The Cost Of Health”). However, Stefan Kozalla, better known as DJ Koze, Adolf Noise, Der Säger von St. Georg or Kosi Annan, is more alive than ever. After releasing numerous club hits last year (most notably ‘I Want To Sleep’, ‘Zou Zou’ and his remix for Sascha Funke’s ‘Mango’, he just announced his second remix collection. After ‘Music Is Okay’ in 2000 the Hamburg-based genius is about to release ‘Reincarnations: The Remix Chapter 2001-2009′, a collection of 13 tracks out of his numerous remixes.

Koze is one of the most accurate and cutting-edge sound constructor these days. Whether it is electronic music, folk, hip-hop, pop or even rock, he transforms it into proper club tracks. Unfortunately you have to wait till March 6, till ‘Reincarnations – The Remix Chapter 2001-2009′ will appear on Get Physical.
