true, there was a time when Europe’s infatuation with the ornament of the middle east was rivaled only by it’s drive to conquer it. This very well could have led to a facade like the one pictured here to exist in any number of western cities. still, i’m wondering why you chose such a distinctly turkish/arabian image for a mix tiled “we’ll always have paris (2009)”. ?
maybe he likes it caouse of this he choose.?

influence and inspiration going on. especially if it comes to architecture…
