Phonica’s take :Leftroom Limited have surprised everyone here by releasing the best Dirtybird record of the last few months! It’s dirty, fidgety and seriously good fun. Plus, to make things even better, there’s a Justin Martin remix on the flip taking the dirt factor to another level. Fans of Dirtybird, Dubsided and the lot should snap this immediately.

my Take:I dont know why they threw in minimal into the describtion, this EP is about Funk, funk, funk.(Ricardo will not be playing this i think.) Some seriously fun stuff and a nice debut by Worthy. Unfortunately he gets absolutely blown away by Justin Martin (aka one of the men pioneering the return of the funky child to Tech House.) Martin takes the Worthy original and just twists it into this building dubby monster with huge 90’s hip hop undertones. The only others who i have ever heard do this without losing me areb Modeselektor…and they cant bring that funky signature baseline quite like Justin. Truly a anthem to bridge the gap between the elitist and the fun lover with the sole purpose of making people move. Pure party music and what dance music is starting to be about again. Release 4.5/5
this:Crack-El (Justin Martin’s Stoopit Crunk-Ill Hyphy Mix) 5/5 and impossible not to get your head bobbing to. If only conventional Urban Music Can say the same these days.
Enjoy and see for yourselves.
