Yet another dance record with a cheesy “looking off into the distance” photo.
Smile, pull a face, do something…..different.
yes I agree!
w-ki used to be organized and represented quality and certain genres.
nowadays it looks like a mess and even posts cheesy trance and house.
back to quality please!
wtf is this??
The 07-kaskade-angel_on_my_shoulder__troydon_angels_over_demons_dub_mix goes.
Original Suckz !
Thxx..
Even though its cheese, its useful to have it in case you are doing requests. And I like the EDX and Troydon Remix.
This is EVERYTHING that is WRONG with the DANCE scene at th
If you think it’s cheese (cheesy?), why play it, even when it’s requested? Commercialism at it’s best.
I suppose there is a market for this, and people that enjoy this too. They too have a right to have a good night out. Just because something isn’t minimalistic or experimental makes it superfluous.
Personally, I’d rather have a solid minimal/techno release posted on w-ki, instead of this. No need to flame people though.
Kaskade WAS amazing when he shifted from the OM Records PR desk to the Studio (he stuck his demo into a pre-screened stack of cds…and got the call for signing. hence Ryan Radon became the legend Kaskade). What happened then had more to do with his religious identity. Ryan is 100% active in the church of latter day saints (he’s wicked Mormon). The reason this album made me puke is the “meditation to the goove” days are LOOOOOOONG GONE and it seems he is going to target the Abercrombies in-store CD market (and possibly the Utah club scence). I am now deleting every Kaskade album I ever had (ok, I’m keeping the Meditation vnyl). A damn shame actually.
thanks
